I have a true passion for dentistry and have dedicated the past four decades to making a positive impact on the lives and health of the people in my community. I am pleased when I can take patients who were fearful of having dental procedures and turn them into loyal patients who come regularly for dental treatment. I consider my patients part of my extended family, and many of them continue to come to my office from different parts of Canada and the United States. I am thrilled that both my children have chosen to follow me into such a wonderful profession. I enjoy each day at the office watching both my boys enlighten me in the new procedures in dentistry.
I feel that continuing education is a vital aspect of having a thriving dental practice. I take continuing education courses each month which allows me to keep up-to-date on the latest innovative dental procedures, all of which directly benefit my patients.
I am actively involved in the Toronto Alpha Omega Dental Association. I am a past present and run several programs for this organization that fund various dental charities in Toronto and around the world. I have also been involved in committees at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, which keeps me in contact with other professional members in our area.
I have been a proud member of the Toronto community for my entire life. My wife, Rhonda, is a registered nurse and works in our office full time as an office administrator. My eldest son, Dr. Eryn Sone, is a dentist, and his wife Lisa is a family physician. My youngest son, Dr. Aiden Sone, is a dentist and his wife, Sigalit, is a pharmacist. We currently have three grandchildren and a little Papillon puppy named Cricket who completes our family. My free time is spent doing repairs around our home and cottage, fishing, and traveling whenever possible.
